Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a deserving Savannah family. Construction on the house is tentatively scheduled for the first quarter of 2006 in the Downtown Historic District.
To help offset the costs of the project, Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty is raffling off a $10,000 cash prize to be awarded to one lucky individual at the close of the Sand Gnatsı game at Grayson Stadium on Friday, July 29. The cost of a raffle ticket is $50, with all proceeds directly benefitting Habitat for Humanity. Only 700 tickets will be sold, and the winner is not required to be present at the game to win.
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) recently joined Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty and Habitat for Humanity in this project. Architecture students enrolled in SCADıs Spring 2006 Quarter will work on the Habitat house as part of their curriculum requirements. Project leaders from both Habitat for Humanity and Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty expressed their excitement at SCADıs participation in the project.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased from any Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty office or through Coldwell Banker Greater Savannah Realty agents. Call (912) 790-6946 for more information.
