Savannah's One-Stop Remodeling has been recognized by the building industry with many awards for excellence that include eight Remodeler's Council awards and accolades from the Western Plywood Association and Remodeling Magazine. As members of organizations such as Remodelers Advantage Roundtable, NARI, and the Remodelers Council of the Home Builder Association of Savannah, One-Stop Remodeling has established itself as the standard of excellence in the industry.

One-Stop Remodeling is versatile with projects ranging from skylight installation to whole-house remodels and historic renovations. The knowledgeable staff and skilled production personnel are experienced with decks, patios, sunrooms, baths, kitchens, additions, pools, and more.

If it is difficult to visualize the final product, One-Stop also offers computerized in-house design with detailed estimating. Scott Richards, president of One-Stop Remodeling explained, "We are a full-service design/build firm. We have an on-staff licensed architect and our own highly skilled crews." A full service design/build firm begins by establishing a budget with the client that guides the design and drawings and sees the project through management and production of the job. When utilizing design/build services, the client allows the company to take care of all steps required for a quality remodeling result.

Helping the clients determine their needs is one of the first things to consider. Richards said, "Some clients like to shop their own selections, and we give them guidance; but we have a lot of clients who don't have that kind of time. We assess their needs and get an idea of their tastes. Then we pre-select items and let them choose from the suggested selections. This helps keep the project simple and manageable.

One-Stop Remodeling performs restoration for a variety of customers including residential, historic, light commercial, and investment properties. Recent projects completed by One-Stop include a commercial remodeling at the service department of Backus Cadillac and homes in the Isle of Hope, the Landings, Ardsley Park, and Savannah's historic district.

When deciding how a remodeling job can best work for the customer, Richards said One-Stop keeps the same focus. "Whether commercial or residential, the criteria is pretty much the same." Richards said that there are some questions to consider: "What are they trying to accomplish by the investment? If commercial, what are the needs of the customers who are being served by the business? Who exactly are the customers? What image are they trying to project? What do the local building codes require? Also, clients should first inform themselves about the true cost of remodeling and make a list of needs versus wants. They should then prioritize their needs and establish a realistic budget. One-Stop Remodeling will help with these preliminary steps as well.

"We are Savannah's only true design/build firm," Richards stated. "With a design staff in house, there is a team atmosphere between the design department and the production end of the project, and that is what matters to the client." Richards added that his company immediately works to establish a viable budget for the client.

The professional staff of One-Stop Remodeling works very closely with BB&T, as well as other local financial institutions, and is ready to help you with your remodeling project. Contact One-Stop Remodeling at 912-925-7867, or visit the website at www.one-stopremodeling.net.
