SUMMARY: Beach High School features two specialized magnet programs, the Military Science/Aviation Academy and the Biological and Medical Professions Academy. Started in 1992, the aviation academy prepares students for entry level positions in military fields and teaches them how to fly airplanes. The biological academy puts students through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that includes advanced courses and internships with local health care institutions.
