SCHOOL SUMMARY:
Georgetown Elementary School opened in 1993 at a cost of about $8 million. The school was named after the Georgetown community it was built in. Located on approximately 20 acres of land on Savannah's southside, Georgetown Elementary features more than 30 classrooms, a media center, a full gymnasium facility with a rubber floor, and a courtyard with an amphitheater.
