SCHOOL SUMMARY: J.G. Smith Elementary's magnet program is the Traditional Academy. The Traditional Academy provides students with positive, structured environment. The school is academically oriented with a focus on mastering basic skills while developing computer skills and effective study habits. Emphasis is also placed on citizenship and American heritage. It is the only public elementary school in Georgia that offers Latin instruction.
