SCHOOL SUMMARY: Pooler Elementary School houses the Computer Science Academy magnet program. Students enrolled in the program use a variety of computer resources to reinforce traditional academics. The school's local network has more than 200 stations housed in classrooms and two lab settings. Students in all grades use the computers to compose and edit projects. Math skills are taught and reinforced using various programs. Keyboarding and general computer literacy skills are also emphasized.
