SUMMARY: West Chatham Elementary opened in August 1999 at a cost of about $7 million. Located at Rogers and Pine Barren roads near West Chatham Middle, the school is about 128,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 750 students. The school's "Block-H" design is an adaptation of Coastal Middle School, with four wings, a central core for exploratory programs and an open courtyard. West Chatham Elementary's mascot is an eagle. The school colors are blue and green.
