SCHOOL SUMMARY:Windsor Forest Elementary School is located on Savannah's southside. The school is also the home of the Windsor Forest Community and Golden Age Center, a facility that meets the needs of both Windsor Forest's elementary kids and area senior citizens.
Established as a resource for staff members and families, the $2.2 million center was built with funds that the school raised and money from both the City of Savannah and the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools Board of Education.
While the school uses the facility's media center and art and music rooms, "golden agers" use the center for daytime activities like aerobics and yoga.
